My husband had radical surgery on his face secondary to Squamous Cell spread. He had twice/day extensive radiation treatments. The whole left side of his face had radiation burns, extremely painful, itching, red and crusty black skin. He was prescribed several lotions to apply, but nothing eased the severe pain. His radiation oncologist recommended Camwell. It looks like mustard, and we applied a thin coating, my husband always thought he smelled something burning right after the application BUT the wonderful thing was he had immediate relief from the burn pain. We used it after the late afternoon treatment, then washed his face before the morning treatment, then reapplied after the AM treatment. When the treatments were completed, I could see Camwell helped to settle the redness of the burn, my husband received relief from the burning and itching after each application.
